a) He shall hold a First Class Certificate of Competency Foreign Going Motor Certificate which shall not be of Panamanian or Liberian origin.
b) DOT (UK) or Class 1 or equivalent for VESSEL.
c) He shall have a minimum of 15 years sea-going experience of which 5 years shall have been spent as Chief Engineer/Captain/Command in the offshore hydrocarbon industry.
d) Knowledge of charting and charter party agreements is essencial. |
