  • We have urgent opening for Desktop Support Engineer for Bangalore location, below is the complete requirement details;
    Designation: Desktop Support Engineer
    Required Experience: 6months to 2years
    Job Location: Whitefield - Bangalore
    Service Window: 24*7 support
    Required qualification: Any Graduate ( diploma holder please do not apply)
    Description
    The End User Computing (EUC) team is directly responsible for supporting the technology needs of multiple departments in a fast paced and dynamic ecommerce environment.
    As a System Specialist, you will be responsible for the design, build, deployment and maintenance of EUC technologies. The job requires an in-depth knowledge of OS deployment, software distribution and systems/network support along with a strong customer service focus and excellent communication skills.
    Duties and Responsibilities:
    Administer EUC routine software patching and software updates.
    Provide engineering support and technical expertise regarding integration of new and existing technology into IT Client platform.
    Provide L1 desktop management and executive support, identifying root cause with strategic solutions to problems
    Discover and formulate ideas as needed for improving the desktop experience
    Perform trend analysis on the volume and nature of incidents and problems and raise awareness of regular repeat incidents
    Interface with internal teams, depts and vendors for configuration, integration and deployment activities and projects
    Perform additional duties and responsibilities as requested by management
    Qualifications:
    Experience in AD, MDT and associated imaging components
    Ability to follow directions and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including executive positions
    MCSA/ACMT or equivalent knowledge in Enterprise level EUC
    Assertive team player with positive attitude and high energy level
    Graduate with 18-36 months of experience in the field of Client Engineering/EUC environment/Infrastructure support role
    Other desired skills/abilities (considered as an added advantage):
    Working knowledge of a wide range of data centre technologies including Local (LAN) and Wide area networks (WAN) and network protocols
    Understanding and appreciation of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL
    Please note that resources will be required to give 24/7 support with 6 days working,
